COTTAGE DESCRIPTION

This senior executive accommodation is beautifully appointed, on a large parcel of land and perfectly located for easy access to several villages and day trips north to the Algonquin Park area.

The living room is built for comfort with over stuffed sofas, comfortable leather chairs
and an incredible stone fireplace which is for decoration only.

The kitchen with gleaming stainless steel appliances has everything needed for the discerning chef inclusive of a fridge, stove, microwave, toaster, blender, coffee maker, the ever popular dishwasher and there is a washer dryer in the lower level of the cottage.
Just off the kitchen there is a huge harvest table with comfortable leather seating for eight.

There are 4 bedrooms to sleep 8 in 2 queen size, a double and a set of
single bunks. There is also a walk-out to the deck from the master bedroom.

There is a four piece bathroom as well as a three piece bathroom for your convenience.

In the lower level there is a large spacious rec room with leather sectional sofas, another stone fireplace, television, VCR, DVD with satellite dish, a small drink fridge and a very good billiard table which will surely play a major part in your vacation during the evening hours.

Outside:

This 3/4 acre property and cottage is situated on the western shore of beautiful Boshkung Lake
which is part of a three lake chain with Little Boshkung and 12 Mile Lake. For those families
who are into power boating, there is a marina on 12 Mile Lake for all your boating needs.
The cottage is an easy 15 minute drive from Carnarvon and Minden is an additional
15 minutes. If you are looking for more substantial shopping, the Village of
Haliburton is within a half hour of the cottage where you will find major
food stores, shops, bars, restaurants and live entertainment. If golf
is your passion, there are several quality golf courses within the
Haliburton Highlands. And don't forget your fishing gear as
there are over 600 lakes in the Haliburton Highlands.
The outside needs little explanation with a great
furnished deck with comfortable seating
and table and off the lower level
there is a very comfortable stone patio with wicker furniture and a propane barbeque. As you can see the beach is exceptional, very child safe and ready for a great vacation. The depth of the beach will vary from the beginning of the summer and into August due to the draw down but rest assured that the swimming will be great during the entire summer and beyond.
