COTTAGE DESCRIPTION

This one couldn't be much better for mature students of The Haliburton School of Art.

The spacious living room is tastefully appointed with 2 sofas, 3 easy chairs and an entertainment centre which includes a television, DVD player with satellite reception and a great view of the property from cottage to lake.

The kitchen comes equipped with a fridge, stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and the always popular dishwasher. Just of the kitchen there is a very comfortable dining area with a large harvest table with seating for eight.

There are 3 bedrooms in this cottage with double beds and there is a full four piece bath for your convenience.

Please note: As stated above, this cottage is ideal for students attending the Haliburton School of Art. All campuses are an easy 10 minute drive from this cottage. As you exit the cottage, there is a good size deck with several lounge chairs and down from the deck there is a table with umbrella, chairs and a propane barbeque for Executive Chef Kashagawigamog. Just call him Chef Kash for short but don't call him late for dinner. As you make your way down to the shore through this beautiful, almost 2 acre property, you will come to your fire pit which we are sure will be well used during your stay especially when you consider that the sun sets across the lake from the cottage and trust me when I say that the sunsets can be outstanding on Kashagawigamog. And then it's onto one of the fine beaches in our inventory. The beach is extensive, child safe and nothing but a sandy bottom. In addition there is a kayak for your use while at the cottage. On the other side of the cottage away from the lake, there is a large expanse of flat lawn which is perfect for your favorite lawn games. If golf is your passion there is the North Ridge Golf Course in the immediate neighborhood and the Village of Haliburton is a short 10 minute drive away where there is much to see and do. In the village there are many shops, restaurants, a theatre, LCBO, beer store, large food stores, pharmacies, live theatre and a hospital is there to serve any health care you may need. All in all, this cottage is in a very good neighborhood and Lake Kashagawigamog is part of the famous 5 lake chain of the Haliburton Highlands so bring your fishing gear because you will be in serious bass country.
