COTTAGE DESCRIPTION
This neat little package is perfect for a vacation without breaking the bank !!!
The comfortable living room comes complete with a sofa, chair, good size television with VCR and DVD as well as a good selection of videos for your enjoyment. The view is also superb considering how close the cottage is to the water.
The kitchen includes a fridge, stove, toaster, coffee maker and dishwasher.
Just off the kitchen there is a dining area to seat 6 in comfort.
There are 3 bedrooms in the cottage including a master bedroom with a double bed, a set of bunks in bedroom 2 with a double bottom and single top and in bedroom 3 there is a set of single bunks as well as a single bed for a total sleeping capability in beds for eight. In addition there is a 3 piece bathroom with stand up shower for your convenience.
Outside
This cottage is situated on beautiful Haliburton Lake which is one of the larger lakes in the Haliburton Highlands and close to the Fort Irwin Marina for all your boating needs. This cottage is also within 20 minutes of the Village of Haliburton which makes this cottage very attractive to students attending the Haliburton School of Art.
As you exit the cottage there is a large stone patio across the front and side of the cottage where you will also find your own hot tub for relaxation after a hard day on the water in your canoe, kayak or paddleboat . Of course there is also a propane barbeque for the Family Chef.
In addition, if you need supplies or a night out on the town, in the Village of Haliburton there are major food stores, restaurants, service stations, quaint shops, live entertainment, theatre, pharmacies, banking, flee markets, special events, library, health care clinics and a hospital if needed. Don't forget your fishing gear because there are lake trout, bass and whitefish in Haliburton Lake. If golf is your thing, there are several fine golf courses within the Highlands to test your skill.
