COTTAGE DESCRIPTION

This is a listing that is almost too hard to resist.

The living room comes complete with overstuffed sofa bed and chairs, a propane fireplace, Television and a DVD / satellite combination.

At the end of the living room there is a dandy sitting area which is just perfect to curl up with your favorite book and a coffee after a hard day at the beach.

The kitchen comes with everything you will need for a pleasant time preparing your favorite meal. The appliances include a fridge, stove, microwave, toaster, blender, coffee makerand the ever popular dishwasher and washer / dryer.

There are two beautifully furnished bedrooms with a queen size and double bed and the third bedroom has it's own television and children's video library and a set of bunks with a double bottom and single top. In the living room there is also a king size day bed and there is a new single roll away if needed.

Outside

As you can see from the following photographs this is a very attractive property which sits slightly above the lake making for a very desirable view. The newly constructed deck has a very nice deck set for your dining please as well as a propane barbecue for the family Chef de Jour. At the shore there is a nice sandy beach for the kids and a dock where you will find your canoe, kayak, row boat and paddleboat for your on water pleasure. This cottage is located on South Bay with a short boat ride to the marina and the main part of Haliburton Lake. The cottage is approximately 20 minutes from Eagle Lake Village where there is a general food store which includes a beer store and LCBO and if you are looking for more substantial shopping the Village of Haliburton is also about 20 minutes away with many shops, large food stores, restaurants, bars, live theatre, pharmacies, health care at clinics and a hospital, movie theatre and there are several golf courses in the immediate area to test your skills. Do not forget your fishing gear because Haliburton Lake gave up a 46 pound lake trout last summer which is close to a world record and which is on display at the community centre. Haliburton Lake is in a very pretty part of the Haliburton Highlands and we look forward to seeing you here this summer.
