COTTAGE DESCRIPTION

If you were lucky enough to go to your old uncle's cottage when you were
young, then you may recognize this little beauty on Haliburton Lake.
This is not your neighborhood Holiday Inn but when you are there you will realize that many people have come and gone and have taken many fine memories with them from this cottage.

The living room comes with a large sofa, a smaller double size futon,
a television with VCR, DVD and satellite dish for your viewing pleasure.

The nicely equipped kitchen includes a fridge, stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and all the pots pans and dishes you may need. Just off the kitchen there is a nice dining area with very comfortable seating .

There are 3 bedrooms with a queen size, a double and a set of single bunks
as well as a double futon in the living room if needed.
In addition there is a 3 piece bathroom with stand up shower for your convenience.

There is a wrap around screened in porch with seating and a stereo for your listening pleasure and a propane barbeque which you wheel out to the deck when needed and enough fishing equipment for all the family. And don't make fun of the size of the large fish net because a 45 pound lake trout was caught on in Haliburton Lake last summer. There is also a nicely stocked library for your use while at the cottage.

Outside

Outside there is a property to die for with stately hemlocks leading to a rocky weedless shoreline with great swimming, a good size dock and a commanding view of Haliburton Lake. The best swimming is off the dock but if you have young ones, there is a beautiful expansive public beach with new play equipment within a 2 minute drive of the cottage or you can walk there if you need your exercise. The kids will enjoy fishing off the dock using your fishing gear or that provided by the cottage. There is a canoe and a paddleboat available for your on water enjoyment. And there is a great fire pit for those evening marshmallow roasts. This cottage is conveniently located within a 20 minute drive of Haliburton Village where there are many shops, food stores, LCBO, beer store, entertainment and much, much more. If golf is your game there are several courses to test your skills. So in the final analysis, this is a neat economical cottage ready for the young family to enjoy and cherish the memories for years to come.
