COTTAGE DESCRIPTION
In the foothills of the Haliburton Highlands near Norland and Coboconk.
The living room includes 2 sofas, a stone fireplace and a television with VCR/DVD and satellite reception.
The kitchen comes equipped with a fridge, stove, microwave, toaster and coffee maker and even a water cooler / dispenser.
There is a dining area just off the kitchen plus an additional folding table with seating for eight.
There are 3 bedrooms in the cottage, two bedrooms have queen size beds
and the third has a set of double bottom and single top bunks. In addition there is a full 4 piece bathroom for your convenience.
Outside
Four Mile Lake is situated just east of Hwy 35 near Coboconk and just south of the Village of Norland. This property on a small bay is well groomed and ready for your family of 7 people. As you exit the living room there is a full width deck which is partially covered by an extended section of roof if you are looking for some shade during the heat of the day. The deck is not child safe so be prepared to supervise smaller children when in this area. The deck comes with table, chairs, a couple of loungers and a propane barbeque for the Family Executive Chef or the Burger and Dog King. There is a nice grassed in area in front of the cottage which is perfect for lawn games and there is a fire pit for those popular evening marshmallow roasts and singalongs. In addition there is a horseshoe pit and croquette equipment when the spirit moves you. There is a small dock where you will find your canoe and kayak and there is a natural shoreline with soft bottom. If you are looking for a beach, there is a nice public beach within a 5 minute walk of the cottage. If you are into fishing, bring your fishing gear because there are bass, walleye and muskie in Four Mile Lake. If you are looking for a fun night out, this cottage is about an hour from Casino Rama. If you need supplies the Villages of Coboconk and Norland are nearby.
