COTTAGE DESCRIPTION

This cottage will delight the family needing a truly wheelchair friendly designed cottage.

The spacious living room includes a wood burning stone fireplace, a sofa, a couple of easy chairs and entertainment centre with a TV / DVD, satellite dish and a stereo radio with CD and cassette .

The well equipped kitchen comes complete with a fridge, stove, microwave, toaster oven, toaster, blender, coffee maker and a washer / dryer for all your laundry needs.
Just off the kitchen there is a dining area with expandable harvest table and seating for 8 in comfort.

This cottage has 2 bedrooms with a queen size and double size bed and there is also a double size sofa bed if needed. The master bedroom even has an assist arm for ease of entering and exiting the queen size bed. In addition there is a 3 piece bathroom with a wonderful walk-in shower with portable shower nozzle
and hand rails throughout the bathroom making this a truly wheel chair friendly facility.

Outside:

The rentable space in this cottage is all on one level with an easy wheelchair friendly exit onto the child safe deck which has a table, 6 chairs and a delightful view of Canning Lake. Needless to say, there is a gentle gradual wheelchair ramp from the driveway to the front cottage entrance. From the deck or driveway level there are a few stairs to the shoreline level which includes a double lounge swing, a baby swing hanging from under the deck, several lounge chairs, a rather extensive dock with a row boat for your on water pleasure as well as a propane barbeque for the culinary master in the family. There is stone staircase into the water and the sandy bottom extends far out into the water as the photos below indicate.
