COTTAGE DESCRIPTION

Tired of dealing with traffic and noise for the past 50 weeks?
Boy, do we have the vacation spot for you !!!

It all starts with the nicely furnished living room complete with two sofas, two easy chairs,
a wood burning stove and a television with VCR / DVD and Satellite Dish.

The well equipped kitchen comes with a fridge, stove, microwave, toaster, blender and coffee maker
Just off the kitchen is the dining area with a good size harvest table and seating for eight.

There are 3 bedrooms in the cottage with sleeping for seven in a queen size,
a double and a set of bunks with a double bottom and a twin size top.
In addition there is a full four piece bath for your convenience.

Outside:

In the famous Redstone / Kennisis Tourist area, Birchy Lake is a small sparsely populated lake with absolute privacy and quiet, yet in the hub of activity in this area including the Haliburton Forest and Wildlife Centre. Birchy Lake is surrounded by Kennisis and Redstone Lakes
and is an easy 20 minute drive from the Village of West Guilford. If you are looking
for more substantial shopping, Haliburton Village is only 10 minutes from
West Guilford. As you exit this cottage, there is a well furnished deck
with several wooden Haliburton chairs as well as a table with
chairs and umbrella for meals hot off your own propane
barbeque and prepared by the family's Chef Crispy
Fingers. If you are lucky, you will be fed Brook
Trout fresh out of Birchy Lake and caught
by the family fisherman. As you make
your way to the shore through this
beautiful property you will find
the ground spongy underfoot because of the carpet of pine needles
everywhere. At the shore you will find your shore deck and
a good size dock with a canoe for your on water
pleasure. At the rear of the cottage there is a
fire pit for all those evening marshmallow
roasts which the kids enjoy.
