COTTAGE DESCRIPTION

This beauty on 12 Mile Lake is certainly worthy of your consideration.



The living room comes equipped with a sofa, 3 chairs, a quality television
with VCR and satellite dish as well as a wood burning stove .



The attractive kitchen features fine cabinetry, a fridge, stove, microwave, toaster, blender and coffee maker. Just off the kitchen there is a nice harvest table to seat six in comfort
and there is room for two more at the bar in the kitchen.



There are 3 bedrooms in this cottage with a queen size bed, a double and a third bedroom has a set of bunks
with a queen size bottom and single top. There is also a full 4 piece bathroom for your convenience.

In the lower level there is an unfinished
area for the kids with a table, chairs,
bar fridge, and a television with
a Nintendo game box. This
area is ideal for the
younger ones if
the weather
should take
a change.

Outside:

As nice as this cottage is on the inside, the outside is outstanding with a huge wrap around deck with table, chairs, umbrella, and several lounge chairs. This cottage is on a slight rise which affords a great view of the lake and shoreline area. However, make your way down to the lake and enjoy your furnished shore deck and dock with your own paddleboat. The swimming
is great with a gradual entry and hard packed sand bottom. In addition there is a swim platform just off shore for those family members looking for that perfect tan. On the way to the shore you passed a great fire pit area which is so popular with the young ones in the evenings for those ever popular marshmallow roasts. There is a marina near by for all your boating needs or if you wish to rent a more substantial watercraft. Twelve Mile Lake is actually 12 miles around the shore and is part of a 3 lake chain with Little Boshkung and Boshkung Lakes so there is plenty of water to explore. This cottage is within 20 minutes of both Haliburton Village and Minden where there are large food stores, restaurants, quaint little shops, service stations, LCBO, beer stores, pharmacy and there is health care facilities in both villages. The cottage is about 5 km off Hwy 35 which is the main north / south corridor through the Haliburton Highlands and making for easy access to a day trip to Algonquin Park.
